POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Leadhand, performs a variety of labour duties. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Cleans park areas and recreation facilities. Erects and dismantles parks and recreation equipment. Maintains and repairs equipment and facilities. Cuts grass, rakes, shovels, and sweeps in season, snow, gravel, soil, etc. Weeds and cultivates flower beds and park lands. Cuts and prunes trees. Carries out caretaker and maintenance duties on winter rinks. Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
