Position: French language Expert
Type: Expert Linguist
Compensation: $10 - $25/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
Deliver expert-level French language support for translation, localization, and cultural adaptation. Review, edit, and proofread documents for linguistic and grammatical accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication. Develop and implement language guidelines, terminology databases, and style guides. Provide consultation on linguistic nuances and best practices. Participate in training sessions to enhance team members' French language skills. Research and stay updated with French linguistic trends and standards.
Requirements
Native or near-native fluency in French with strong grammar, vocabulary, and syntax. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English. Solid background in linguistics, translation, or a related field. Proven ability to adapt language for various contexts and audiences. Keen eye for detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills for handling multiple projects. Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
