As a Project Coordinator, you will support the VP of Project Management & Administration and the Construction team in coordinating resources, schedules, and documentation to ensure smooth execution of mechanical and plumbing projects. This role is designed to grow into a Project Manager position as you gain experience and demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities

Coordinate project documentation including RFI’s, shop drawings, submittal, change order, closeout documents
-
Maintain organized and up-to-date project files in accordance with company and project requirements
-
Support clear communication between field and office teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
-
Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal team
-
Track project progress and flag potential risks or delays for escalation
-
Participate in client meetings and site visits to support project oversight
-
Contribute to lessons learned and post-project reviews
-
Uphold and promote the Analog Way by prioritizing safety, delivering quality work, fostering growth, collaborating effectively, and valuing our people

Progression Path – Project Manager Responsibilities (to be assumed as the role develops)

Lead mechanical and plumbing construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and on budget delivery
-
Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure effective allocation and control.

Work closely with the Construction team to develop detailed project timelines that align with overall project goals and objectives
-
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
-
Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates and reports on project status and addressing concerns.
-
Oversee adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
-
Take accountability for project outcomes and performance of the project team
Qualifications and Skills:
-
1-2 years of project coordination or related construction experience in commercial or multi-family mechanical, plumbing or related construction projects
-
Relevant trade certification (e.g., Journeyman Red Seal or equivalent), GSC in PM, and/or PMP certification is preferred
-
Familiarity with project management practices, mechanical systems, and construction processes
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management software (e.g., Sage 100, Trimble Autobid Mechanical)
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
-
Demonstrated interest in progressing into a Project Manager role
-
Must have a valid class 5 drivers license
Working Conditions:
This role requires a combination of office work, client meetings, and site visits. Occasional travel may be required based on project locations and business needs.
