As a Project Coordinator, you will support the VP of Project Management & Administration and the Construction team in coordinating resources, schedules, and documentation to ensure smooth execution of mechanical and plumbing projects. This role is designed to grow into a Project Manager position as you gain experience and demonstrate readiness for increased responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities

• Coordinate project documentation including RFI’s, shop drawings, submittal, change order, closeout documents

• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files in accordance with company and project requirements

• Support clear communication between field and office teams to ensure timely resolution of issues

• Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal team

• Track project progress and flag potential risks or delays for escalation

• Participate in client meetings and site visits to support project oversight

• Contribute to lessons learned and post-project reviews

• Uphold and promote the Analog Way by prioritizing safety, delivering quality work, fostering growth, collaborating effectively, and valuing our people

Progression Path – Project Manager Responsibilities (to be assumed as the role develops)

• Lead mechanical and plumbing construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring timely and on budget delivery

• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure effective allocation and control.

• Work closely with the Construction team to develop detailed project timelines that align with overall project goals and objectives

• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

• Maintain strong client relationships by providing regular updates and reports on project status and addressing concerns.

• Oversee adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle

• Take accountability for project outcomes and performance of the project team

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of project coordination or related construction experience in commercial or multi-family mechanical, plumbing or related construction projects

• Relevant trade certification (e.g., Journeyman Red Seal or equivalent), GSC in PM, and/or PMP certification is preferred

• Familiarity with project management practices, mechanical systems, and construction processes

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and project management software (e.g., Sage 100, Trimble Autobid Mechanical)

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated interest in progressing into a Project Manager role

• Must have a valid class 5 drivers license

Working Conditions:

This role requires a combination of office work, client meetings, and site visits. Occasional travel may be required based on project locations and business needs.
