Defect Manager
Key Requirements
Years of experience in defect management or quality assurance
Manage the end-to-end defect lifecycle including identification, documentation, analysis, prioritization, tracking, and closure
Oversee defect logging and tracking using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Lead defect triage meetings to prioritize issues based on severity and business impact
Perform or lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring issues and improve processes
Prepare and present defect reports, metrics, and trends to stakeholders and management
Act as a bridge between QA, development, and project teams to ensure timely resolution of defects
Maintain system documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and delivery timelines
Salary Range - CA$ 70,000 - CA$ 80,000 Per Year
