About PixMob ✨
At PixMob, we create magic for crowds all over the world . You’ve likely seen 60,000 fans light up during the Super Bowl, a Coldplay concert, or at the Olympics. Our mission? To create joy, connection, and unforgettable memories for every fan.
Innovation and design are in our DNA: from rapid prototyping to mass production, we build cutting-edge wireless technology right here at our Montreal headquarters.
Your Mission
The Opportunity: Orchestrate technological deployment in the world's largest stadiums.
Are you a Vectorworks pro who wants to see your plans become the backbone of massive tech installations? We need your expertise to determine how and where to integrate our hardware into large-scale environments (stadiums, outdoor venues).
Reporting to the Technical Director, you are the key reference point who prepares the ground for our touring teams. Working from existing blueprints and collaborating with the technical team, your role is to position our equipment. You are the person who ensures every piece is placed for optimal performance, while planning the necessary structures (truss, towers) ahead of installation.
We aren’t just looking for an executor, but an autonomous and "go-getter" collaborator.
Your Daily Challenges
- Integration Planning: Use existing 3D models to identify and draft optimal hardware installation points.
- Support Design: Draft the placement of structures (truss, ground towers) required for deployment.
- Material Requirements Management: Define specific equipment needs for each event.
- Technical Preparation (Pre-viz): Set up pre-visualization files and batch maps (pixel zoning) so operators can program the show remotely.
- Event Liaison: Act as a technical point of contact to support traveling teams and adjust plans according to local realities.
The Profile We’re Looking For
- Education: College diploma (DEC) in stage production, stage management, stage techniques, lighting, or any program with a strong technical drafting component.
- Experience: Between 1 and 5 years of experience. We want you to have used Vectorworks in a concrete context (professional or large-scale projects).
- Software: Proficiency in Vectorworks.
- Technical Background: Solid foundation in stage structures (truss, rigging) and lighting.
- Attitude: Highly resourceful with a strong sense of initiative. You are capable of making technical decisions and proposing logistical solutions when a plan hits an obstacle.
What We Offer ✨
- Concrete Impact: A sedentary role where your plans travel to the largest stadiums in the world.
- Opportunities: The possibility to expand your potential beyond technical drafting by joining our teams in the field.
- Collaboration: A team of experts ready to share their knowledge of our technologies and a very welcoming atmosphere.
- Travel: Potential travel opportunities for training purposes.
