Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Launch Project Strategist to directly impact a mission-driven, energetic workforce who are changing the way people use energy! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that new projects are effectively and efficiently launched to align with our Statement of Work (SOW) and exceed our client expectations. The Launch Project Strategist will be the point person for all teams during the launch, until full operation is assumed by the delivery team.

You’re a great fit if you can…

  • Own end‑to‑end program launches from contract award through go‑live, with limited post‑launch support as needed.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive launch plans using standardized tools, ensuring alignment to scope, timelines, and SOW requirements.
  • Lead multiple concurrent launches, balancing priorities across varying timelines and complexities.
  • Coordinate internal readiness activities, including resourcing, staffing plans, documentation, and cross‑functional dependencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during launch, partnering closely with clients and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and drive alignment.
  • Monitor launch progress against milestones, proactively identifying risks, constraints, or dependencies and escalating issues as needed.
  • Facilitate internal and external kickoff meetings, status check‑ins, and milestone reviews to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Navigate competing priorities and differing viewpoints, resolving conflicts and driving decisions to keep launches on track.
  • Ensure launches are delivered on time and on budget, adapting plans as needed to address evolving client or program requirements.
  • Conduct post‑launch reviews, share lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of launch processes and best practices.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • Post‑secondary education in Business, Communications, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years experience managing projects, implementations, or program launches in complex, cross‑functional environments.
  • Operational experience in energy efficiency, utilities, environmental services, or public‑sector programs preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead multi‑stakeholder initiatives with shifting timelines, priorities, and requirements.
  • Strong client‑facing experience, including leading meetings, managing expectations, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated track record of execution, delivering results, not just plans.
  • Hands‑on experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Asana, or similar).
  • Comfortable owning timelines and milestones with limited formal budget responsibility.
  • Exceptional communication, problem‑solving, and conflict‑navigation skills, with the confidence to push back constructively.
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to pivot quickly as client or program needs evolve.
  • Collaborative, positive mindset with a strong interest in process improvement and program success.
  • PMP or formal project management certification is a plus, not required.
  • Willingness to flex workload during peak launch periods.
