Why is this role important?

In this role you will be working with the Corporate Products team to support and maintain CIHI’s ServiceNow platform, enabling CIHI to attain more efficient workflows and service operations. As a co-op student you will be involved in a variety of activities that support priority operations and enhancements for the ServiceNow platform. These projects are key in helping us drive CIHI’s overall mandate to deliver on better data, better decisions, for healthier Canadians. This unique opportunity will expose you to areas of development and platform administration.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop and test workflows in ServiceNow for various departments.

  • Monitor, support and troubleshoot operational requests on the ServiceNow platform and document issues.

  • Coordinate, collaborate, communicate with team members and internal stakeholders.

  • Actively participate in problem-solving and coming up with solutions.

What you'll bring to the table

  • Working towards an undergraduate or a graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Business program requiring Co-op as part of educational requirement.
  • Proficient with office suite.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software products such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Process Management (BPM) or IT Service Management (ITSM) is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and apply classroom knowledge in a professional environment.
  • A can-do attitude and an ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Working towards an undergraduate or a graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Business program requiring Co-op as part of educational requirement.
