The** Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese ** (the CISVA) operates 46 schools – 40 elementary and 6 high schools. JOB DESCRIPTION

St. Pius X Elementary School is seeking a part-time MUSIC TEACHER for Grades 3 to 5 for the 2026-2027 School Year.

The successful candidate must be committed to students’ faith development, have strong leadership skills, enjoy working as part of a team, and be willing to contribute to extra-curricular programs in the school. Please include Teacher Regulation Branch status in a cover letter.

Prerequisites:

• Undergraduate degree in Music and/or successful teaching experience in elementary choral & general music training. Additional asset: teaching experience in Band programs for Gr.6-12 (Beg/Int Band)
• Experience as a teacher in ELEMENTARY and MIDDLE YEARS and/or working with children aged 5-12 years old
