Our headquarters in Kingsville, ON is currently seeking a Supply Planner to join our Strategic Sourcing team! The essential function of this role focuses on Inventory Management, Material Planning, Supplier Management and cross collaboration with other departments. Analyze short- and long-term supply; analyzing forecast and creating purchase orders to suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:
Inventory management:
- Monitor and control inventory levels of materials in stock among the different locations, optimizing inventory levels and avoiding overstock or shortages to growers.
Material planning:

Creating materials requirement plan (MRP) for all in stock materials ensuring short- and long-term supply; analyzing forecast and creating purchase orders to suppliers.

Identify and resolve material related risks ahead of time in collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders, maintaining a close and clear communication.
Supplier management:

Follow up and coordinate with suppliers on time/in full deliveries of materials as required for the business.
Education/Background Requirements:

University degree/College Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field preferred

At least two years of Planning
-
Experience in agriculture, manufacturing or production is a plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Strategic and creative functional leader who can effectively activate opportunities in collaboration with a broad cross-functional team.

Strong team and interpersonal skills, including highly polished written and verbal communication skills.

Analytical skills

Computer skills: (Advanced proficiency in Excel required)

Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an asset.

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.

Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.

Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
