Our headquarters in Kingsville, ON is currently seeking a Supply Planner to join our Strategic Sourcing team! The essential function of this role focuses on Inventory Management, Material Planning, Supplier Management and cross collaboration with other departments. Analyze short- and long-term supply; analyzing forecast and creating purchase orders to suppliers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inventory management:

• Monitor and control inventory levels of materials in stock among the different locations, optimizing inventory levels and avoiding overstock or shortages to growers.

Material planning:

• Creating materials requirement plan (MRP) for all in stock materials ensuring short- and long-term supply; analyzing forecast and creating purchase orders to suppliers.

• Identify and resolve material related risks ahead of time in collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders, maintaining a close and clear communication.

Supplier management:

• Follow up and coordinate with suppliers on time/in full deliveries of materials as required for the business.

Education/Background Requirements:

• University degree/College Diploma in Finance, Business Administration or relevant field preferred

• At least two years of Planning

• Experience in agriculture, manufacturing or production is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Normal office environment.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
