This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Labour Supervisor, Building Services based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to lead a hands-on construction support team working across residential and commercial restoration and renovation projects in a fast-paced field environment. You will oversee a small group of detailing specialists, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. The position combines on-site leadership with active labour involvement, requiring both technical skill and strong people management. You will play a key role in training, guiding, and supporting crew members while maintaining daily productivity and safety compliance. Working closely with project leadership, you will help deliver consistent results across multiple job sites. This is a highly practical role suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front and making a direct impact on project outcomes. \n
Accountabilities: Supervise daily labour and detailing operations, ensuring work quality, efficiency, and adherence to project requirements across active job sites. Provide hands-on leadership by training, mentoring, and supporting detailing specialists to develop skills and maintain performance standards. Manage crew scheduling, task allocation, and workforce productivity while adapting to changing site demands and priorities. Perform physical labour tasks as required to support project completion and maintain workflow continuity. Enforce health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for crew members, clients, and the public at all times. Requirements: Minimum 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial restoration, renovation, or construction environments. Proven leadership ability with experience supervising crews and managing on-site team performance. Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Solid understanding of construction site safety practices, with certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, and Fall Protection (or willingness to obtain). Physically capable of performing labour duties in varying conditions, including lifting, bending, and working in confined or outdoor environments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-focused and customer-oriented mindset.
