Term: January –April 2026
Compensation: Unpaid internship (for academic credit)
Location: Hybrid (with optional on-site access, when applicable)
Cosmos Sports & Entertainment is a full-service sales & marketing firm founded in 2003 by Cary & Amelia Kaplan. We “Win the Business” for sports, entertainment, and major events across North America through ticketing, sponsorship, digital, and events.
We’re hiring Sports Marketing Interns across three departments. Choose one or multiple positions when you apply:
Account Executive (Sales)
- Execute ticket sales campaigns: outbound calling, email prospecting, CRM updates.
- Build and manage a pipeline for clients such as Toronto Rock, Georgia Swarm, Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Gala, Centre in the Square, Rugby Canada, Toronto Rush.
- Join virtual meetings; support group/corporate sales closes; report on activity.
Digital Media & Marketing Executive
- Design graphics and short-form content for Cosmos and client channels (IG, FB, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Draft blogs, case studies, press releases; help manage website updates.
- Support campaign planning, social calendars, basic analytics, and marketing decks.
Corporate Sponsorship Executive
- Research categories/brands; build prospect lists and outreach sequences.
- Draft overviews/proposals; support pitch prep and virtual meetings.
- Assist with activation planning and event deliverables for clients (e.g., U SPORTS, Hockey Equality, Milton Magic, Toronto Rush).
What you’ll gain
- Hands-on training with industry-standard tools and processes in sales, digital, or sponsorship.
- Direct exposure to live projects, senior mentorship, and daily touchpoints.
- Portfolio-ready work and credible experience in the sports & entertainment industry.
What you bring
- Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program where this internship counts for credit.
- Relevant studies (Business, Marketing, Sport Management, Media/Graphic Design or similar).
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable juggling deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Department-specific skills:
Sales: CRM management, team player, customer service experience an asset.
Digital Media & Marketing: Adobe CC (Photoshop/Illustrator/Premiere; After Effects a plus) and/or Canva.
Sponsorship: Research skills, presentation building (PowerPoint/Keynote/Google Slides).
MS Office/Google Workspace familiarity across all departments.

- Preference for candidates with prior sales/customer service or content/design experience (assets, not requirements).
