Tasks
- Process and track manual and electronic orders, meeting customer deadlines.
- Manage and optimize inventory, including backorders, stockouts, and pending orders.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Credit) to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
- Research and analyze products for substitutions or order adjustments.
- Participate in training on products, systems, and procedures to develop skills.
- Monitor deliveries and keep information up to date to ensure punctuality.
- Contribute to managing excess and dormant inventory.
- Perform other related tasks to support daily operations and overall efficiency.
Job requirements
- High school diploma obtained.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written (30% of the clientele is anglophone).
- Proficiency in computer systems (a plus): Salesforce, Compass, ERS, Microsoft Office, Crystal, Freight, Tripsheet & Track POD.
