Current individual and institutional members receive the benefit of posting positions freely on our site. For others wishing to list an opening on our site, there is a fee structure. For either, after reviewing our guidelines, please see below for details on how to create a post.

AAMC Foundation does not endorse jobs, opportunities, and spaces listed. We reserve the right to post and/or remove any job listing at our own discretion. Advertisers are solely responsible for the content of their posts, including typos, grammatical errors, and HTML formatting, which won’t be reviewed by our staff. However, we reserve the right to make any necessary edits to listings, including removing any position listing that results in excessive user complaints or includes comments/text deemed inappropriate.

Guidelines

Be transparent in your job posting and include information on travel and hours. All postings are required to include salary and benefits information. AAMC Foundation does not post unpaid positions. It is important to include your organization's description and mission, website, and any relevant contact information regarding the posting. No postings can contain any information that is non-compliant with labor laws and employment regulations, such as restrictions regarding an applicant’s age, discriminatory requirements on the basis of age, sex, gender identity or presentation, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, country of origin, ability or other personal information. Please refer to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s laws and regulations for more information, and employers in NYC must also comply with the NYC Human Rights Law. All sales are final; postings not approved or removed prior to expiration date will not be refunded. Postings can take up to 5 business days to be reviewed and made live on the site.

As already noted, AAMC Foundation requires disclosure of compensation range.

Postings submitted without compensation range will not be approved or activated. We do not provide refunds.

If your institution is not an AAMC Foundation member or if you are not affiliated with a museum, please click here for more information about becoming an Institutional member or see below for our ad rates and instructions for submitting a position.

Submit an open position (Non-Members access)

For non-members, payment (via credit card) adheres to the following rates:

4 weeks or less ($300),

31-90 days ($400),

90 days or more ($600).

Founded in 1978, SERA encourages high standards of museum practice and fosters professional growth among museum registrars through the promotion, exchange, and dissemination of information and ideas via educational seminars, publications, and other means. SERA initiates and supports activities that create an atmosphere of cooperation among registrars, other museum professionals, and those in related service fields, and pursues further development of professional practices in the field.
