We’re hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics to support our expanding operations and ongoing projects. If you are a Heavy Duty Mechanic with compact equipment experience and are looking for a 7x7 shift then joining our Edmonton team is for you! What's In It For You: - Wage: $52.55 hourly base rate - Shift: 7x7 continuous shift - Paid time off in Year one: Vacation and Flextime available - Employer Paid Medical Benefits - Share Purchase Plan (with matching) and Employer paid Pension - CAT certified training: additional certifications and skill development Job Description: Major Job Functions: Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes) Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required Qualifications: Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification Dual Tickets will be an asset Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset Willingness to participate and complete additional training Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision Important Details: Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
