We are currently seeking an Aerospace Technical Help Desk Specialist - Mechanical Systems to join our team!
Position Summary To ensure that airlines operating CRJ aircraft can continue flying safely and reliably, MHIRJ has established a global support ecosystem—with its Customer Response Center (CRC) at the heart of it. As the main point of contact for all technical and parts-related inquiries regarding the CRJ fleet, the CRC operates 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering live, comprehensive support.
CRC personnel come from diverse backgrounds, including mechanical and avionics professionals who have worked on the CRJ production line, as well as individuals with experience in heavy checks, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul), and general, business, and commercial aviation. These experts specialize in urgent AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations and routine requests, providing immediate support ranging from aircraft troubleshooting and technical problem resolution to dispatching field assistance or shipping critical components.

Your Role as an Aerospace Technical Help Desk Specialist - Mechanical Systems :

- Coordinate technical investigations with engineers, suppliers, and aircraft operators
- Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting, and implement corrective actions
- Respond to airline technical inquiries with tailored solutions
- Assess and investigate service difficulties and contribute to long-term solutions
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within our airline clients
- Promote MHIRJ products and services to support overall profitability
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license from Transport Canada or FAA-certified A&P license, with expertise in mechanical systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience with an airline or MRO organization working on CRJ products; experience in MOC or technical services is an asset
- Team player with initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and sound technical and business judgment
- Willingness to travel on short notice (less than 10% of work time)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain positive relationships and communicate effectively at all levels with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work under pressure, with strong attention to detail, planning skills, and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Self-starter capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple urgent initiatives simultaneously
- English proficiency is required, as the selected candidate will regularly communicate with colleagues, clients, and partners outside of Québec
