Reporting
The Warehouse Technician (Picker) reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities
- Respond to requisitions by picking material and ensuring that orders are prioritized and processed correctly.
- Ensuring that picked orders are accurate and that the physical goods match the requisition for product type, quality, quantity, and documentation.
- Providing input to the Inventory Control Team and working to resolve any stock discrepancies that get discovered during the fulfillment process.
- Working with the Sales Team to resolve problems and perform value-added work as required.
- Stocking away residual material after fulfilling an order and ensuring that goods are relocated correctly, in accordance with the ERP system.
- Assist in compiling information on the receipt or distribution of material, equipment, merchandise or supplies and use this information to compute inventory balance.
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and stocking material, equipment, merchandise or supplies to shelf locations.
- Count material, equipment, merchandise and supplies in stock and provide accurate totals to post on electronic inventory records.
- Follow loss prevention policies and ensure that material gets handled appropriately during fulfillment operations.
- Ensure the general cleanliness of the warehouse and workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience
- Experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Experience with a computerized inventory system preferred.
- Aviation experience is considered an asset.
