Job type: Full-time, 15 month contract

Expected pay range: $60,000 - $70,000 per year

We’re looking for a Production Planner to join our Production office based in Kingsway Street in Vancouver, BC.

Job Overview:
The Production Planner establishes the schedule with which the production department executes, oversees daily target information, optimizes production runs using different analysis.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop short-term production plans and determine employee needs based on sales demand.
  • Create and manage weekly schedules to optimize resources and meet timelines by performing capacity analysis and line utilization analysis.
  • Monitor and report on schedule adherence, investigating deviations from the plan.
  • Continuously improve planning processes to optimize production runs within inventory constraints and perform root causes analysis.
  • Communicate product availability and production progress to stakeholders.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience in logistics, planning and scheduling, using Material requirements planning software or relevant education in Operations Management
  • Have problem solving abilities, great time management skills and data analysis skills
  • Have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Power BI, Syteline ERP and MS Excel
  • Have active listening skills and can effectively communicate with different audiences in diverse situations
  • Work with a sense of urgency, are driven and thrive in a fast paced, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial environment
  • Can work flexible work times
