About the role

Description: The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician works under close supervision in the decontamination, reprocessing, and distribution of a variety of sterile and non-sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA General Support Services Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Enrolment in education component of a Medical Device Reprocessing Program or completing practical hours is required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Acquiring CSA Certification is mandatory and will be discussed upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in the medical sector. Proficient in computer applications.
