Thermo King Eastern Canada sells services and reconditions all major brands of transport equipment to manage temperature control environments for food and other perishables. We are a fast growing company looking to add an additional, and exceptional, Senior Parts Advisor to join our winning team.

Responsibilities would include:
- Maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Track and analyze inventory turns with a focus on ways to implement improvements to optimize turn rates
- Mentor, train, and support junior and new parts staff, providing guidance on processes, best practices, and system usage
- Support compliance with company policies and industry standards, including safety, storage, and documentation requirements
- Assume full ownership of all inventory management processes, including annual physical inventory, reconciliation activities, and continuous process improvements
- Lead and oversee regular cycle counts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of variances.
- Supports technicians and service advisors in securing required parts to complete work orders
- Provide counter support for parts issues to shop technicians and walk in customers.
- Provide phone support to customers regarding parts
- Occasional delivery of parts as required
- Source non-stock parts for service jobs
- Receiving and stocking parts for shop and service vehicles
- Maintain accurate control of pending orders/receipts
- Is proficient with computers and can analyze and interpret basic parts department reports, perform internet searches and look up parts catalog
- Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
- Prepare and track parts invoices
- Documenting and reporting discrepancies in the inventory system
The successful candidate will have …
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience in Parts or Service departments in trucking or automotive industries.
- Experience maintaining inventory and tracking / analyzing inventory turns
- G License
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Tech Savvy and has the ability to analyze and interpret basic parts department reports, perform internet searches and look up parts catalog.
