Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Maintain work records and logs. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Perform general farm duties. Write daily basic progress reports. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops. Employment terms options: Flexible hours. Experience: Will train. Employment terms options: To be determined. Weekend. Support for newcomers and refugees: Does not require Canadian work experience. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Support for Veterans: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Veterans.
