About the role
Position Summary PCCA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to grow revenue and strengthen customer relationships. In this role, you will identify new opportunities, promote PCCA products and services, and deliver solutions that meet the needs of independent compounding pharmacists, members, and other healthcare partners. You’ll be responsible for selling equipment, compounding chemicals, educational services, and pharmaceutical products while reinforcing the value PCCA provides to support customer success.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales colleagues and cross-functional leaders to support revenue growth and recruiting efforts to meet or exceed goals established by company management
- Continuous outreach to help maximize and generate revenue, enhance value for customers including call campaigns, targeted call and email communication, video conferencing, etc.
- Perform cold calls to pharmacies and other health care professionals Build and help manage trusted relationships with a portfolio of clients to ensure they do not turn to competition
- Use company tools and software to analyze sales and discuss progress with accounts and management.
- Discover new opportunities and share leads with territory managers to develop action plan to pursue these leads
- Supporting accounts in the territory by leading and/or coordinating interactions i.e. initial set up, problems, questions, investigations, resolutions, deliveries, sales calls, responding to queries, bulk conversations and bulk sales follow up, provide updates on new chemicals and/or products, etc.
- Prepare regular reports on strategy progress and territory forecasts for the Sales Support Manager (i.e. Quarterly Action Plans)
- Participate in assigned company events and tradeshows (i.e. promotion, setup, exhibiting, tear down, etc.)
- Some travel may be required
- Contribute to company meetings that may include Annual Sales Training, Quarterly Sales Strategy sessions, team huddles and one-to-one meetings.
- Support implementation of company initiatives, as required.
- Assist with related special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3-5 years of sales, customer service and/or account management experience
- Proven ability to present and communicate effectively to small and large group settings
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must live within assigned territory
- French speaking, a plus
- Exceptional organizational, prioritizing & time management and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication as well as presentation skills
- Superior dependability, resiliency, and tenacity
- Computer skills in excel, word, outlook, a contact management software, the internet
- Established track record selling premiere or high-end solutions in pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry, an asset
- Pharmacy or compounding experience a plus.
Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Sales Training, an asset
Physical Requirements
- Standing for up to 8hrs
- Be able to walk moderate distances from vehicle to various meeting locations (i.e. pharmacies, restaurants, meeting spaces, etc.)
