Temporary position for 12 months. Join our Performance and Business Insights team as a Performance Analyst and help shape decisions across OAW lines of business by delivering meaningful insights and performance analysis. As a Performance Analyst, you’ll transform complex data into actionable intelligence that answers three critical questions: How are we doing? Why are we seeing these results? What should we do next? You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, present findings to leadership, and ensure priorities are informed by accurate, timely performance insights.More specifically, you will be required to: Develop and share performance insights for OAW lines of business Analyze trends and diagnose performance issues, identifying root causes and recommending actionable solutions Turn complex information into clear, consumable findings that guide decision-making and next steps Design and enhance reporting solutions using SAS and Power BI to create intuitive dashboards Partner closely with business teams to understand changes in rates, underwriting, performance, and strategy Present insights to leadership and collaborate across the organization to operationalize key findings Identify opportunities to improve processes, develop data management tools, and streamline workflows. What we offer* Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment * Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria. #LI-Hybrid , #ON09* What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in a related field A minimum of five years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Advanced experience with SQL and SAS, and building dashboards in Power BI is preferred Advanced experience with managing and delivering projects, coordinate stakeholders, and adapt to changing priorities Experience analyzing data, applying metrics, and developing data-driven recommendations Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or client Advanced proficiency in MS 365 suite Advanced knowledge and understanding of data management principles Intermediate knowledge of Performance KPIs for all underwriting banners in Ontario, Atlantic and Western Canada, specifically DAN, TPIC, and DI Intermediate operational knowledge of agent-facing tools, systems, and processes Complexity, Innovation, Nimble learning, Resourcefulness, Tech savvy Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
