As Specialized Laborer working in the Civil and Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will work in close collaboration with all workers. Working on large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will ensure the coordination and execution of work in the civil engineering & infrastructure sector, commercial, institutional, industrial sector, heavy civil engineering & urban earthworks.
What you will do :

Operate a water truck safely and efficiently;

Fill and empty the water tank according to job site needs;
-
Water roads, granular materials or work areas to control dust;
-
Perform daily vehicle inspections (oil levels, brakes, tires, etc.);
-
Assist specialized crews and help with site work.

Master the tools at your disposal, including a hand truck, shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, screwdrivers, drills, jackhammers, compactor, etc.

With appropriate training and a valid card, the laborer may be required to use handling and motorized equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, etc.

Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards.

Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting work environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and other trades on the site.

Care for and maintain small tools and site equipment.

Carry out all other related operational tasks.
This role is made for you if you have:
- A valid CCQ occupancy card.
- A valid driver's license – Class 3.
- A 2015 ASP Construction & WHMIS card.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
