The Director, Sales Growth & Field Performance leads Canada’s national commercial functions, including sales growth strategy, production planning, sales incentives, distribution & logistics, corporate sales, pre-owned, and field sales operations. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to accelerate market performance, strengthen retailer success, and deliver a modern luxury customer experience.
The position drives cross-functional alignment with Brand Directors, Marketing & PR, Financial Services, and Finance to ensure market agility, executional excellence, and sustained profitable growth.
Main accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Lead and deliver national growth strategy across Sales Planning & Incentives, Distribution & Logistics, and Corporate Sales & Pre‑Owned, ensuring execution that directly supports revenue, profitability, and overall business targets.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability with Regional Managers, Brand Managers, Marketing, Financial Services, and Finance to ensure coordinated market execution and maximize sales growth.
- Lead, develop, and hold accountable the national field sales growth organization, ensuring disciplined execution, consistent retailer engagement, and delivery of sales growth targets across all regions.
- Develop, manage, and support functional leaders accountable for achieving commercial KPIs, operational efficiency, and continuous innovation across all workstreams.
- Use data-backed insights to improve performance, increasing sales growth, strengthening forecasts, reducing operational friction, and improving retailer ease of business.
- Ensure flawless market execution of lifecycle planning, demand generation initiatives, and Go-to-Market strategies that directly impact sales volume and customer engagement, including new vehicle launch readiness.
- Represent Canada in global and regional forums, ensuring local business needs and performance requirements influence international strategies, processes, and standards.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of progressive experience within automotive OEM environments.
- Proven leadership across regional management, sales operations, market strategy, and cross-functional team leadership.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with Brand Management, Marketing, and Financial Services to drive growth and innovation.
- Strong understanding of retailer networks, sales planning, incentives, and customer experience (CX).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, and performance management tools (ERP, data analytics platforms, dashboards), including systems such as SAP.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 30%.
