About the role
As a Teaching Coordinator, and under the supervision of the Director of Studies or the Academic Director, your main role will be to ensure the planning, assignment and monitoring of teaching assignments. You will play a key role in coordinating teaching resources, providing administrative support for instructional activities, and managing communications with faculty. You will also be called upon to participate in the integration of new teachers and to ensure the optimization of practices related to academic planning. RESPONSIBILITIES Identify teaching needs for each session and collaborate in the teacher recruitment and assignment process; Contribute to the planning of primary assignments and their validation in the management tool (e.g. Vector); Process requests for modifications and changes to assignments, particularly in relation to the opening or closing of groups; Manage assignments related to the supervision of internships; Deal with requests for replacement during the session (illness, parental leave, resignation, etc.); Ensure communications related to assignments with teachers (modifications, pedagogical instructions, updates); Actively participate in the professional integration of new teachers; Collaborate with different academic departments to ensure consistency and quality of the teaching experience. REQUIREMENTS Hold an undergraduate degree in education, administration or any other relevant field; Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in an administrative or coordination role in an educational setting; Knowledge of post-secondary school environments (college or university); Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and academic management software (e.g., Vector, Clara); Organizational skills, rigor and great attention to detail; Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in an ever-changing environment; Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills; Proficiency in French language (spoken and written); Professional proficiency in English language (spoken and written). This role involves frequent interactions with clients and internal and external partners on both a national and global scale. Therefore, professional proficiency in English is a requirement for this role.
