About the Role:

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of inside sales representatives to drive sales growth, optimize dealer inventory, and ensure effective dealer support while maintaining alignment with the companies’ overall goals. This role is focused on ensuring an excellent customer experience for both external and internal customers while overseeing sales activities, managing dealer discounts, utilizing CRM systems, and supporting the VP of Sales in executing key strategies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for efficiently executing plans, excelling in sales planning, team leadership, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

key duties and responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams, including Sales and Technical Support, to ensure high-quality service and timely completion of tasks and quotes.
  • Review and prepare dealer quotes, manage leads and opportunities in CRM tools, and ensure timely processing and release of orders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to 100% completion
  • Lead, train, and mentor the Inside Sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Assist the VP of Sales in the development and execution of sales strategies in alignment with K.A. group objectives.
  • Monitor dealer inventory levels to optimize stock availability (both whole goods and parts) and ensure timely product replenishment.
  • Manage execution of dealer pricing and discount programs, ensuring compliance with company policies while maximizing profitability.
  • Serve as the primary contact for information and issue resolution, liaising with internal departments, and updating both internal and external stakeholders on order status and other relevant details.
  • Leverage CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales activities, and ensure accurate data entry for pipeline management.
  • Assist the VP of Sales with strategic planning, reporting, and execution of sales initiatives.
  • Ensure that team members are aware of their team and individual performances and expectations, discuss strategies, and align on sales objectives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to align sales strategies and enhance customer experience.
  • Develop the skills, knowledge and abilities of Inside Sales staff in ways that expand their value to the company in both their current and potential future roles.

Key Objectives:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to:
  • Understand current challenges relating to inside sales-driven processes. This includes:
    • The collection of dealer data (inventory, end-user sales, warranty registration).
    • Quoting and invoicing workflows.
    • The maintenance of sales funnel and pipeline data.
  • Define critical data-points and KPIs relating to the above processes to be used in decision making and monitoring activities.
  • Develop new processes to support ongoing collection and accuracy of data inputs.
  • Support the implementation of a new CRM system. This may include defining key data to be collected in the system, researching potential options, and developing processes to collect and maintain data in the CRM.
