Test Analyst - Contract
About the role
Description
We are looking for someone to support the project delivery as a solid and experienced Test Analyst. You will have a systematic and collaborative approach to test planning and execution, strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of teams and technologies.
Reporting to the Test Manager/Test Lead the Test Analyst will be responsible for participating in analysing requirements and translating those to test cases. The Test Analyst will perform test execution across multiple platforms and contribute to reviews and participate in workshops and sprint ceremonies as applicable.
This role requires someone who is a confident communicator and well experienced in Waterfall and Agile methodologies to be able to deliver in accordance to the Test Strategy.
Critical Requirements
Must be a permanent Australian resident
Must have a driver’s licences Must be willing to work both from home and client site.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with the Test Manager/Test Lead to plan and execute testing
Support Release planning activities, including writing test cases, and providing estimates of testing effort Review requirements and develop traceability to test cases Complete testing for releases, including updating progress reporting as directed Track and prioritise tickets/tasks as part of planning and create/maintain defects during test execution Maintain effective relationships with test team members, other stakeholders and delivery team members Undertake test planning and execution in the nominated testing tool

Experience And Skills…
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related discipline; or relevant industry experience Relevant industry experience working in both Waterfall and Agile environments Strong written and verbal communication Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines Minimum 4 years as a technical and business tester Minimum 4 years’ relevant work experience testing system enhancements, integration testing, functional testing, testing across multiple platforms Relevant experience in establishing test requirements, test scenarios, test cases and maintaining testing coverage Relevant experience in creating and maintaining defects Project testing experience using industry-standard testing tools
