Receptionist - Regular Full Time (WH RECEP1 1.00) AgeCare Walden Heights
About the role
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the receptionist is responsible for providing warm, professional and approachable receptionist services as well as accurate and efficient documentation and computer data entry on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the reception area for a large long term care facility
-
Handle the switchboard, greet public, book tours and schedule meeting rooms
-
Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and the extended management team
-
Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail and dealing with deliveries
-
Answer questions from residents and visitors with a high degree of professionalism and cheerfulness
-
Assist in billings and trust account administration
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing with the public face to face
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Word and Excel
- Strong book keeping acumen, previous book keeping experience preferred
- Excellent understanding of confidentiality and professionalism as it relates to health care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and resources to meet multiple deadlines
- Professional and mature with excellent English Language skills, both orally and in writing
- Consistent demonstration of AgeCare’s Values
