Business Analyst - Transformation

About the role

Job Description ParaMed is looking for a business analyst to support our ongoing journey of continuing to enhance community care as part of our Transformation Team. The Transformation Team is tasked with designing standardized processes, rolling out new technology to the organization, as well as supporting enterprise wide initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze and interpret data to drive continuous process improvement and standardization efforts across the organization
  • Report progress on transformation workstream initiatives against ParaMed strategic priorities
  • Support project managers to execute enterprise initiatives including the standardization and simplification of business processes and implementation of new technologies
  • Model innovative, creative thinking and behaviour, critical thinking skills, problem-solving behaviours, advocacy and a ‘can do’ mentality to support the creation of a high-performance team environment
  • Build and maintain professional partnerships with internal business partners and support teams that are characterized by shared responsibility and success, open communication, and transparency
  • Lead small initiatives or specific workstreams of large projects through taking part in design and solutioning to resolve strategic issues, coordination of project activities, progress monitoring, and effective communication

What You Bring

  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a focused approach to problem-solving and quality
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to adapt key messaging to target audiences and to influence process and behavioural change
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating the structure necessary for successful project planning and implementation
  • Strong user of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint will be an asset
