At CPRI, we provide exceptional care and support to children, youth, and families facing mental health and developmental challenges. As a Residence Manager, you will play a crucial role in strategizing and overseeing the implementation of gender-responsive assessment and treatment programs, as well as personalized treatment plans for children and adolescents.

In this role, you will ensure that our programs and services align with the ministry's vision and meet the division's standards. You will cultivate a therapeutic environment that fosters positive connections and employs evidence-based approaches for serving children and adolescents within our organization. Your strong leadership and managerial skills will be essential in driving the success of these programs and maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for both our team members and clients.

In addition, you will actively contribute to shaping facility programs, policies, and protocols that are in line with the ministry's vision and service benchmarks. As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for managing staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our 24/7 facility.

Please Note: This position supports our Inpatient Services program in an afterhours capacity. As our facility operates 24/7, the Residence Manager will be required to work evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and on statutory holidays.

This position will be used to fill future vacancies.

Future vacancies may include:

  1. Unit Manager – Responsible for day-to-day operations, admissions, staff supervision, leadership, and problem-solving. Typical Hours: Monday to Friday, 8–4, with flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  2. After Hours Residence Manager – Provides onsite leadership, crisis support, staffing coverage and stabilization during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Scheduling Manager – Develops and maintains inpatient staff schedules, manages staffing coverage, and supports operational scheduling needs. Typical Hours: Monday to Friday with flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

The Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) provides trauma-informed and highly specialized services for children and youth of Ontario who experience complex and long-standing combinations of mental health difficulties and/or developmental challenges where these difficulties significantly impact functioning in multiple areas such as home, school and community and appropriate community interventions have not produced the desired response. CPRI provides services that are based on a partnership model with community service providers. Our services include Assessment, Consultation, Treatment, Research and Education in both outpatient and inpatient services.

-Ensuring the delivery of services to vulnerable children and youth while adhering to legislative and policy standards. -Evaluating and addressing emergency situations, including evacuations and behavioral disturbances, while enforcing security protocols to safeguard clients and staff. -Leading program implementation and modifications in clinical domains, overseeing program efficacy. -Coordinating analysis and propose enhancements to inpatient services, emphasizing risk management and patient welfare. -Fostering collaboration among staff and clinical departments to facilitate specialized inpatient treatment services and organize focus groups. -Contributing to formulating organizational objectives and contingency plans, suggesting improvements to enhance service provision.
