Monthly Salary Range: MoveUp Group 08, MIN $5,419.00 - MAX $6,497.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.

Recruitment Range: MIN $5,419 – STEP 3 $6,008.

Placement in the salary range is determined by an assessment of knowledge, skills, experience and ability of the candidate to meet the key requirements of the job. In exceptional cases, candidates may be hired above the recruitment range, provided agreement is reached with the Union.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll play a key role in supporting the administration of BC Transit’s technology contracts and licensing portfolio – consisting of 100+ applications, each with its own lifecycle, renewal schedule and financial terms. From receiving invoices and coding expenses to tracking contract dependencies and coordinating approvals, you’ll be hands on with the operational details that keep our systems and budgets aligned.

You’ll collaborate across departments—working with accounting to manage payments, with procurement to support contract workflows, and with IT to stay ahead of technology lifecycle demands. You’ll help coordinate financial forecasting, monitor contract dependencies, and ensure compliance with capitalization rules and reporting requirements.

This role offers a unique vantage point into how technology investments are managed within a complex organization. You’ll contribute to planning, documentation, and process improvement, while helping bridge communication between technical teams, financial analysts, and procurement specialists.

Exposure to procurement processes, capital planning, financial forecasting, and technology operations that offers development opportunities in a variety of directions.

What you'll bring to the table...

We love lifelong Learners and recommend the following mix of education or certifications to be successful in conjunction with relevant experience:

  • Post secondary diploma in administration, business or a related field
  • Three (3) years related experience managing and coordinating capital projects, and managing technology asset documentation
  • Must possess strong organization, evaluation and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
  • Superb budgeting, asset tracking and cost-management skills
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities in spending strategies, product demands and purchasing timelines through analytical capabilities
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Collaborative working and decision making
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Professional integrity and discretion
