We’re Hiring!
We are currently looking to fill a part-time, permanent position for an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Accounting Department at our Leamington office.
What You'll Do:
- Responsible to freight payables.
- Filing, scanning, and copying.
- Assisting with A/R and A/P activities as required.
- Assisting with month end and other finance duties.
- Collecting and verifying invoices.
- Ensuring compliance with external auditors.
- Preparing cheques for issuing.
- Ensuring data is up-to-date collecting mail and running errands for accounting, as needed.
- Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security, and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.
- Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- This job description highlights the main components but is not inclusive of other activities that may be required.
What You Bring:
- 1-2 years general accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with Financial/Accounting software considered an asset.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Time management skills are required to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, organize work and problem solve.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all Company related matters.
- Good team player with the ability to effectively communicate written and verbally.
- A valid driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required.
What To Expect:
- Working with minimal supervision for most of the day.
- High degree of confidentiality regarding company related matters.
- 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Spends most of their day in an office setting.
- Walking, sitting, and standing throughout the day.
- Lifting light files, paperwork, etc.
