Our meat department is fundamental to Food Basics’ overall success with a focus on always fresh, in stock, and up to standards.

General Responsibilities

  • Receives direct deliveries, stocks and merchandises products
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Support with overall store operations including store opening and closing

General Qualifications

  • Customer service driven
  • Able to stock merchandise and create displays
  • Good product knowledge and attention to detail
  • Able to lift up to 30 to 50 pounds
  • Retail experience considered an asset.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights, weekends and holidays
