About the role

Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to complete projects and tasks
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar industrial maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
