Your Role As a member of our product validation team in Magog, you will work with industry professionals to maintain, repair, and continuously improve the equipment at our validation center. You will contribute to exciting and unique projects in a dynamic, friendly, and innovative environment. If you are passionate about mechanics and ready to take on stimulating challenges as part of a close-knit team, this position is for you!
We Need You To
- Maintain test equipment and vehicles
- Ensure the delivery of test benches or vehicles within the required deadlines according to the schedule
- Participate in the implementation of various assemblies for research needs
- Contribute to the preventive and predictive maintenance system
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of your work area
- Comply with work procedures and health and safety standards
- Actively participate in continuous improvement
- Perform any other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor
- Be available for travel 5-10% of the time
What do you need to succeed ?
- Availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Vocational diploma in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or equivalent training
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, machining techniques, welding, and instrumentation & controls
- Own toolbox
- Forklift and overhead crane operator's licenses (an asset)
- Autonomy, initiative, and sense of responsibility
- Team spirit
- Order, structure, and method in your work
- Critical and analytical thinking, open to different ways of doing things and willing to learn
- Desire to be exposed to best business practices at a global leader
