Liaise with Manufacturing Team members and Leadership related to a Lean Project assigned to the selected Students

Conduct analysis with multiple departments related to the project scope as defined by Leadership

Communicate with Team Members regarding the problem statement and collect opportunities /solutions
-
Develop a project plan with tasks and timelines
-
Coordinate / facilitate internal meetings with key subject matter experts related to project goals
-
Interface with Managers and Senior Leaders to report project status
-
Provide a presentation with your recommendations and solutions
-
Retain all documentation related to the project for ongoing use within the business
-
Provide a final presentation on your experience with Land Systems Canada during your summer. What you were able to both learn & take away from the experience
Required Qualifications:

Enrolled in University Degree or College Diploma program in relevant discipline. Manufacturing Technologist, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Admin, Manufacturing Operations,

Demonstrate ability to work independently

Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, particularly in Excel, Power Point, Word
-
Demonstrated proficiency in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management skills / experience
- Basic understanding of process analysis
- Basic knowledge of Lean Principles
- Advanced Level proficiency in Software Systems integration
