Our experienced professionals provide strategic tailored advice and practical support across the full deal lifecycle—from due diligence and structuring to post-deal integration.
We are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our collaborative team and contribute to delivering high-quality tax solutions that drive value for our clients. What you will do:

Lead and manage tax due diligence engagements, identifying tax exposures, mitigation strategies and tax efficiency opportunities

Advise on structuring acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, and joint ventures to optimize tax outcomes

Provide tax comments to transaction documents to ensure appropriate tax considerations are accurately reflected and addressed

Develop tax models to evaluate transactions

Support vendor-side tax planning, including pre-sale analysis and carve-out strategies

Perform transaction cost analysis and provide other support relating to the implementation of the transaction

Guide clients through post-deal integration, addressing risks and accessing opportunities

Collaborate with KPMG’s global network to support cross-border transactions and leverage international expertise
What you bring to this role:
- CPA designation
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in tax, with significant exposure to M&A transactions
- Strong technical knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and M&A tax issues
- Strong analytical, research and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead client engagements in a dynamic environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong client relationships
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and mentoring team members
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with tax developments
- Proficiency with tax technology tools and data-driven approaches
