How You’ll Make An Impact Position Overview
The Compensation Manager is responsible for supporting the Manager, Compensation and Benefits with the variable compensation programs, year-end compensation cycle, compensation surveys and providing analytical and reporting support.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the design and administration of variable compensation programs across all businesses and ensure all variable payments are accurate and processed on a timely basis
- Provide support and assist in the management of the annual year-end compensation cycle.
- Provide support in the participation of the annual and/or ad-hoc compensation surveys. Utilize compensation tools for market benchmarking purposes.
- Provide analytical support and guidance on more complex request as it relates to compensation, HR, workforce reporting and analytics
- Provide support in the administration of the job evaluation process to support compensation as well as reporting and analysis.
- Provide support in the share administration of the Canadian share programs which includes, verification of share statements, share reporting and reconciliation, audits and annual share payment process.
- Conduct ad-hoc projects as required
Experience What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years Compensation, project management and/or analytic experience, preferably within financial services, consulting and/or accounting industry
Education
- University degree (bachelor’s degree), preferably in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science - or equivalent work experience
The Expertise You Bring
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform complex analysis and interpret and summarize data in a simplified manner. Has advanced knowledge of Excel, Access and/or statistical skills. Experience in designing compensation models and compensation research and analysis.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills. Ability to manage large sets of data and report in a simple and effective manner. Ability to develop presentations for clients and management.
- Strong project management skills. Possess strong skills and experience in managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and possess time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with peers, clients, and management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Possess strong skills in effective communication and experience in producing and delivering presentations to business partners and senior leadership.

- Base Salary A competitive annual range of $110,000 to $130,000, based on your experience and qualifications.

How You’ll Make An Impact Position Overview
