New Position Location: Main Campus Academic Period: 2026 Fall Semester Faculty: Faculté d'éducation / Faculty of Education Academic Unit: Teacher Education (Fac. Education) Course Title: BECOMING TCHR IN PRAC Course Code: PED 31501/ 31502 Section: U100 Course Description: Engagement in personal and collaborative reflection and enactment of the Ontario College of Teachers "Standards of Practice and Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession"; preparation for, and ongoing monitoring of, practice teaching; synthesis of personal professional development of self as teacher through action research and inquiry.

Dates: Sept 1 - April 30, 2027

In Teacher Education, Hybrid means that all courses include ten in-person sessions offered on campus at the University of Ottawa (30 in-person instructional hours) and two online course modules, delivered through Brightspace, which provide the equivalent of 6 instructional hours.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those set out above.
