Job Description
We’re growing our onboarding and data implementation capabilities as more clients move onto MUFG’s platform, and we need someone who can take ownership of this critical work. In this role, you’ll lead the setup and migration of fund and client data, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
You’ll work closely with teams across the business to bring new funds live smoothly and improve how we do things along the way. Your work will directly shape the client experience at one of the most important moments in their journey with us.
What You’ll Own
Lead end-to-end system setups and static data configuration for new fund launches and client onboarding Manage complex conversions, including data migration, reinitialization, and system reconfiguration Build and maintain accurate fund structures using offering documents and best practices Analyze NAV and share registry data to identify and resolve discrepancies before go-live Coordinate conversion plans and timelines with internal teams, keeping everyone aligned and informed Champion data quality by ensuring all setups meet internal standards and regulatory requirements (ISAE/SOC) Create and refine standard operating procedures to simplify and scale onboarding processes Partner with Technology and Product teams to automate and improve how client and investor data is managed
Qualifications
What You Bring
Essential
Experience in fund administration, investment management, or audit, so you understand fund structures and data flows Strong project experience in onboarding, conversions, or data migrations, allowing you to manage complexity and timelines with confidence Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy Solid understanding of accounting principles, helping you validate NAV and financial data Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving skills, enabling you to catch issues early and improve processes
Valued
Experience with systems like Advent Geneva, Investran, Yardi, Mantra, Flexcube, Sentry,Workiva, Finbourne, Lemonedge or similar platforms Familiarity with data tools, warehouses, or workflow platforms like JIRA or Workiva Exposure to digital transformation or automation initiatives in financial services Experience working across private equity, hedge funds, or traditional fund structures
