Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse will be

responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provisions of safe quality nursing care to clients. He/She is responsible to the Manager of the designated area.

Experience

  • One (1) year experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Licenses

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Other Education and Training

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

  • Foam Lake is located approximately 92 km west of Yorkton
  • Preference will be given to nurses with community nursing experience
  • Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized
