What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be a welcomed member of the Retirement team at Aspira Island View, working in a fast-paced environment where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Concierge, you'll cultivate a profound understanding of our residents and their unique lifestyles. Building rapport with residents, their families, and visitors, you'll offer personalized assistance, ensuring everyone feels esteemed and assisted during their time with us. As an individual and part of a wider team, you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
How You’ll Succeed:

1. Establish Meaningful Connections:

• Respond to all resident and visitor enquiries as their first priority in a diplomatic manner, utilizing problem solving and complaint resolution skills and ensures all complaints are forwarded to the General Manager in writing

• Promoting excellent customer service in all personal interactions with visitors, families, residents and team members.

• Greeting all visitors to the building and ensures that their needs are addressed in a pleasant and unhurried fashion and conducts mini tours in accordance with policies and procedures.

2. Provide Clerical Support:

• Completing required records to support cash transactions related to the sale of guest and team member meal vouchers / tickets.

• Providing clerical and computer support to all managers as requested.

Who You Are:

• You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully

• You are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.

• You are proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Power Point.

• You exercise tact and diplomacy in working with seniors, their families and general visitors

What you need to know:

• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit

• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
