The Opportunity:
Make your mark while you grow your career! Canadian Natural has an excellent opportunity for two permanent, and one temporary full-time Surface Land Area Administrators to join our Calgary team! In this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, a high level of integrity in dealing with confidential documents and be able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Professionalism, solid communication skills and the ability to work in a group environment, along with accuracy and attention to detail, as per Canadian Natural’s mission statement, “Doing it Right”, are essential.
- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
- Safety sensitive position: No

Key Accountabilities:
- Respond to and address inquiries from Landman, Landowners, Lawyers, Crown agencies and service companies in a timely manner
- Administer and maintain surface/easement files and associated databases (including registrations, vendors, cheques, etc.)
- Assist various groups within Canadian Natural to ensure capital, maintenance and integrity projects are tracked and completed
- Ability to understand and issue third party agreements
- Ensure monthly reports are completed
- Attend and contribute to meetings
- Perform all duties with the highest degree of accuracy and integrity while meeting deadlines
What You Bring to the Role:
- Must have minimum 5+ years of industry related Surface Land experience
- A Petroleum Land/Land Analyst Certificate or similar is considered a strong asset
- A practical working knowledge of Rules, Acts, Directives, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- A self-starter who takes initiative to learn and grow
