What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a part-time Content Creator to work closely with our founder, Jenn Harper, to capture and edit compelling brand content. In this role, you’ll help bring Cheekbone Beauty’s story to life through short-form video, behind-the-scenes moments, and product-focused storytelling.
You’ll spend one day per week filming with Jenn, then edit and prepare the content for use across our social platforms. This is an opportunity to shape founder-led content for a fast-growing, purpose-driven beauty brand.
Main Responsibilities
- Film engaging content with founder Jenn Harper one day per week.
- Capture short-form video, product demonstrations, behind-the-scenes moments, and community-focused storytelling.
- Edit high-performing videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Produce multiple pieces of content from each filming session.
- Add captions, text overlays, trending audio, and transitions to enhance performance.
- Organize, package, and deliver content for scheduled posting.
- Contribute creative ideas that elevate founder-led and brand storytelling.
Who You Are
- You have strong video editing skills and are confident using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar platforms.
- You know how to create short‑form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social channels.
- You can move quickly and produce multiple pieces of content from a single filming session.
- You’re comfortable filming with a founder and capturing authentic, in‑the‑moment content.
- You bring strong storytelling instincts and enjoy creating engaging, purpose‑driven beauty content.
- You’re passionate about beauty, sustainability, and brands with a meaningful mission.
- You’re familiar with adding captions, text overlays, trending audio, and transitions to enhance content performance.
Bonus if you have experience with beauty content and product storytelling, have worked with founders or personal brands, and know how to turn one filming day into 10–20 pieces of content.
Where You’ll Be Working
This is a part-time contract role with approximately one day per week spent filming in person, plus additional editing time. The work is collaborative, hands-on, and fast-paced, with a focus on capturing real moments and translating them into engaging social content. While hybrid work is preferred (Toronto / Niagara region), editing can often be completed remotely. The role involves working closely with the founder and adapting to dynamic shoot days.
