This position represents Neek Coating's first national branch opening in Canada — candidates will be joining a professionally established operation at an important stage of its Canadian expansion.

Current Opening: Bookkeeper

Position Overview The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and day-to-day accounting functions of the organization. Beyond core bookkeeping responsibilities, the successful candidate will also contribute to commercial operations support, including market research and business development activities during periods of lower financial workload. This position works directly with company leadership and requires strong financial literacy, organizational discipline, and the versatility to contribute meaningfully across multiple business functions in a growing regulated-industry environment.

This is a full-time, in-person position located at our Calgary office: 4838 Richard Rd SW, Calgary, AB T3E 6L1

Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online: transaction recording, accounts payable, expense categorization, and account reconciliation Prepare and submit GST filings, payroll remittances, and government compliance obligations; support month-end close and financial reporting Maintain organized records and documentation in support of regulatory and operational requirements Research and qualify Canadian pharmaceutical manufacturers and CDMOs as prospective customers; maintain the company's prospect database and CRM tracker Support business development activities including drafting outreach communications, coordinating follow-up, and monitoring relevant industry events and market developments

Qualifications Canadian citizen or permanent resident (required) 1–2 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including GST/HST and payroll compliance Working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) or equivalent bookkeeping software Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in an evolving environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business productivity tools

The following are considered strong assets: Experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, food packaging, or other regulated industry environment Certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline is considered an asset but is not required
