The East Hants Sportsplex is a vibrant hub for sports, recreation and community events. Our facility features two arena ice pads, three year-round artificial turf fields, a Café, and three versatile multi-purpose rooms ready to host a wide range of activities. Join our dedicated team of experts in sports, recreation, customer service, hospitality, and facility operations, in an exciting community-focused environment.
We are recruiting for Welcome Desk/Café Server(s) to join our team for the fall/winter season to provide customer service support at the front desk and serve food and beverages to patrons of the café.
What you can offer:
- Past experience in customer service, food and beverage service, or a willingness to learn.
- Experience with point-of sale software would be an asset.
- Current WHMIS, CPR/First Aid certification, or ability to successfully complete training provided.
- Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry check.
- You are available to work up to 20 hours per week, around the operational requirements of a sports facility, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- 19+ years of age to meet licensing requirements of the café.
- Solid understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in a customer focused environment.
