Production Team Leader
Duties & Responsibilities Leads daily manufacturing activities to accomplish shift objectives as they pertain to safety, productivity and the quality of the product. Provide leadership on the shop floor to ensure we achieve our goals.
SAFETY
Keep Safety at the forefront of all production decisions.
Carry out Incident Investigations for any Safety accidents that occur
Set an excellent Safety example SCHEDULING Organize the workflow and job assignments based on daily requirements.
Identify bottleneck areas, capacity constraints and assign appropriate resources
Organize material movements and identify supply shortages Coordinate required maintenance activities QUALITY/PROBLEM SOLVING Maintain compliance of process control procedures in accordance with ISO and QMS requirements. Assist in the analysis and resolution of process problems. Coordinate problem-solving efforts. Work with Continuous Improvement Team (CIT) regarding non-conforming product. Create follow-ups and training to address quality issues. Ensure accuracy of all NCR documentation COMMUNICATION/TRAINING Develop and maintain a strong rapport with all associates, management & peers Coordinate and assist in training of manufacturing associates.
Lead ‘Toolbox’ meetings
SUPERVISION Responsible for manufacturing and associate related administrative duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of all production workers. Administrate hourly associates payroll reconciliation.
Report to: Manufacturing Team Leader
Direct reports: Hourly associates Preferable Position Requirements Education & Years of Experience: Preferred College Diploma and/or supervisory training or strong manufacturing experience. Must have demonstrated solid leadership skills.

Excellent communicator Leadership skills Results oriented Negotiation skills Interpersonal skills Computer skills (Word, Excel, JDE, Kronos etc.) Must be able to work on shifts and available for on-call rotation.
Effort & Working Conditions
Normal work environment allows the associate to sit comfortably and move about freely, not confined to a workstation. There may be some need to lift light articles. The physical environment is clean and climate-controlled. There is frequent involvement in the manufacturing environment.
