Your Contribution:
Your main responsibilities
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will work in collaboration with the Electrical Design Team your main responsibilities will be:
- Support the design and development of electrical projects using AutoCAD and Revit, including planning, organizing, and execution;
- Prepare, verify, and review technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance;
- Assist in preparing reports, specifications, proposals, presentations, cost estimates, and supporting documentation;
- Contribute to site investigations, studies, building condition audits, and asset management planning;
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and objectives;
- Attend and actively participate in internal and external project meetings with clients, contractors, suppliers, and design team members;
- Coordinate effectively with other design disciplines to support project delivery;
- Engage professionally with clients, contractors, and suppliers in all project-related interactions;
- Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
Your Profile:
What makes you unique
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, with eligibility or enrollment as an Engineer in Training with the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists New Brunswick or a valid P.Eng. designation in Nova Scotia;
- 4 to 9 years of electrical design and drafting experience in the consulting industry;
- Project management experience considered an asset;
- Experience with electrical engineering tools such as AGI32 and SKM PowerTools, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite considered an asset;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and update recurring tasks, while maintaining attention to detail and demonstrating integrity and a strong work ethic;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to produce well‑written reports and technical specifications; bilingual (French) is an asset;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with an understanding of product results;
- Valid Driver’s License.
