Job Description

How You’ll Make an Impact: Lead, develop, motivate and direct supervisory as well as frontline employees Ensure all housekeeping cleaning is carried out in accordance with Sodexo health and safety and industry enhanced cleaning policies Audit, monitor, and support all employee training Coordinate activities of housekeeping employees engaged in cleaning within a very busy environment. Ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees and guests Monitor employee productivity and implement processes for increased service or productivity Ensure health and safety policies are followed and implemented. Perform daily inspections and audits of rooms, common areas and general areas in the hospital.

Perform day to day assignments in addition to lead duties

Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and issue resolution Qualifications What You’ll Need to Succeed: Post secondary education Proven experience in housekeeping services leadership in a healthcare or similar environment requiring enhanced cleaning Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulations Experienced with budget management, including cost control and resource allocation Proven ability to provide quality audits and training Strong problem solving abilities Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills Completion or current enrollment in Ontario Hospital Housekeeping Association (OHHA) is an asset Flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of standard business hours Experience leading in a unonized envirnment Additional Information What Makes Sodexo Different: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater because we believe our everyday actions have a big impact.
