HR Summer Student – Talent Acquisition, Learning & Communications
Location: Montreal, QC
Department: People & Culture (HR)
Duration: Summer 2026 (Temporary student position)
About the Role
The HR Summer Student will support the People & Culture team with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition, Leadership & Learning, and internal communications. This role is ideal for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in recruitment operations, learning program coordination, and HR communications within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support
- Support candidate sourcing, resume screening, and basic shortlisting under guidance.
- Assist with job postings, tracking recruitment activity, and maintaining accurate candidate records.
- Provide administrative and coordination support throughout the recruitment process.
Leadership & Learning Support
- Support the coordination of leadership development and learning activities (registrations, attendance, logistics).
- Assist with preparation of materials, participant communications, and session follow-ups.
- Help track learning data and support basic reporting and documentation.
Communications & Intranet Support
- Support internal communications initiatives, including content creation for the intranet (rédaction, mise en page).
- Assist in preparing simple communication materials such as presentations, posts, emails, or short videos.
- Help maintain and update intranet pages related to HR programs, learning, and talent initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a university or college program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); interest in digital tools is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (French/English) is an asset.
- Interest in talent acquisition, learning & development, and internal communications.
